Obituary for Duaine N Cox
Duaine Newman Cox, 60, of Ephrata, WA passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his home.
Duaine was born on April 12, 1956 in Dayton, Washington to Jack and Virginia Cox. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1974 and then continued on to work as an Iron Worker throughout the Pacific Northwest.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and two grandchildren.
Duaine was an avid Cougar’s fan and enjoyed listening to classic rock. He was a free spirit and he rode life until the wheels fell off.
Duaine is survived by his daughter, Callie Cox and two grandsons, Dayton and Grady of Ephrata, two sisters, Pamela Hurt (Buck) of Royal City, Penne Johns (Rick), of Deming Washington and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Virginia Cox and grandparents, Everett and Nells Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30p.m., Saturday November 19th at Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel, 300 G Street S. E., Quincy Washington
