Dennie N. Durfee, 82, of Quincy, WA passed away June 19, 2018 surrounded by family, after a long illness.

Dad was born November 3, 1935 in Almo, Idaho to Ralph Winslow and Kturah Mittret (Millard) Durfee. He is the 4th of 14 children, and is a twin to Dean. In Dad’s early years he grew up in several towns in Southern Idaho. Dad met Mary L. Garrard in Oakley, Idaho and they were married on June 7, 1957. They just celebrated 61 years of marriage together.

Before moving to Quincy in 1963, they had three girls, Rhonda, Teresa and Tina, then their son Nicky was born in 1967 in Quincy. Dad worked in several farming and mechanic jobs over the years. He was a very hard worker and took pride in his work.

Dad enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, dancing and bowling. He especially took great pride in his family. The little ones kept him going.

He is survived by his wife Mary, three daughters; Rhonda (William) Bonnell, Teresa (Will) Burrus, and Tine Christian; six Grandchildren; Eric, Kim, Karli, Josh, Ethan & Kevin; twelve Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters and four Brothers and several others who are like Grandkids to him.

He is preceded in death by sin son; Nicky, his Parents; four sisters; two infant twins and his twin Brother, Dean. Dad was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Quincy, WA. Concluding services and dedication of grave will follow in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
