Felicitas Lozano Garcia

Our sweet loving mother passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on October 16th, 2018. Felicitas “Fela” Lozano Garcia was born on November 20, 1940, in Eagle Pass, Texas to Marcos and Romana Lozano. She and her family arrived in Toppenish, Washington in the early 1950’s, where she met the love of her life Roberto Garcia Sr. They were married on March 8th, 1958. Together they moved to Quincy, where they planted their roots and raised their six children, as well as many other loved ones. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 8th, 2018.

While living in Quincy, Fela worked at Columbia Foods for several years. She was known in the community to be a loving hospitable woman who always opened her home to everyone. Fela mostly enjoyed hosting family gatherings, and cooking delicious meals along with homemade tortillas (you could smell the wondrous fragrances as you walked towards her home). She also loved caring for her grandchildren, and talking on the phone with family and close friends. Fela had a lot of faith in God and enjoyed going to church every Sunday at St. Pius X.

Preceded by her husband, Roberto Garcia Sr., who was waiting to welcome Fela in Heaven with open arms. She is also preceded by her parents Marcos and Romana, and siblings Francisco Lozano, Lorenzo Lozano, Olga Alvarado, Guadalupe Garza, Marcos Lozano, and great-grandson Jordon King.

Survived by her sisters: Gloria Trevino, Maria Garcia, Cande Veliz, and Elia Sanchez. Children: Roberto Jr. (Lauri) Rock Island, WA; Rosalinda (Jorge) Austin, TX; Rolando (Isabel) Ephrata, WA; Reymundo Ephrata, WA; Ramona (Ruben) East Wenatchee, WA; Rachel (Jeremy) Ephrata, WA. Grandchildren: Diego, Ismael, Trina, Isaac, Victoria, Ana-Lisa, Angelica, Emilio, Sarah, Stephanie, Samantha, Andre, Gabriel, Yvonne, and Pete. Great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Manny, Mya, Alyna, Adrian, Emilee, Xaviar, Xzavian, Basil, Mia, Aaliyah, Karina, Isaiah, Asher, Bella, Ezra, and Amia.
