Agnes F "Aggie"  Escure
Agnes Florence Escure, age 86, died peacefully with family by her side at her daughter's home in Spring, Texas on Oct 16, 2013.
Born, November 10, 1926 in Spokane, Washington to Virgil and Hilda Berto. She was married to Jerome Escure and she raised 7 children. She was a longtime resident in George, Washington.
After retiring at the age of 72, Agnes filled her days with joy and purpose by volunteering at the Quincy Community Food Bank and Habitat of Humanity Thrift Store up until her health prevented her to continue at age 82. She was dedicated to serving others.
She is survived by her children Rita Keene, Mary Lou Kelp, Patrick Escure, and Catherine Escure, sisters Mary Moss and Margaret Spangle and 15 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Hilda Berto, son's James Escure, Michael Escure, daughter Theresa Sligar, former husband Jerome Escure, and her brother's Virgil, Louis and Joe Berto.

Rosary will be recited at 6 PM on Thursday, October 24th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, Oct 25th also at St Pius X Catholic Church, Quincy, concluding services will be held in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
