Todd Floyd  Yeates
Todd Floyd Yeates, 25, of Quincy, Washington, passed away November 30, 2013. Born March 11, 1988 in Quincy, Washington,
the son of Carl Eugene and Mickie Lynne Yeates. He married Shaelynn Allen on October 29, 2011 in the Mount Timpanogos
LDS Temple. They have been living in Highland, Utah while his wife, Shaelynn, was finishing her student teaching.
Todd’s infectious personality affected all those he met. He loved to be around others and could make any stranger into a friend. His nieces, nephews, and young cousins adored his loving spirit. He also had a great love of the outdoors, working on the farm, and had a special bond with animals. In quiet moments, he loved to read. While in high school, he earned his Eagle Scout award and participated in FFA. When not spending time with his family and friends, Todd enjoyed all sports, wrestling in particular and was a district champion and went to the state wrestling tournament. Todd graduated from Quincy High School in 2006. Following graduation he served a two year LDS
mission to Edinburgh, Scotland. He graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in July 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Shaelynn; his parents Carl and Mickie; his parents-in-law, Mark and Anita Allen and family;
his siblings: Bart (Kellie), Tanya (Jarod), Scott (Kylie), Tiffany, and Brett.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Quincy LDS Chapel, 1102 2nd Ave SE, Quincy, WA.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 10:15 a.m. on Saturday prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Quincy Valley Cemetery. Bishop Bruce Webley will be conducting funeral services.
