Obituary for Matthew P. Keith

Matthew P.  Keith
Matthew Perry Keith, 53, of Quincy, passed away April 2, 2014 at a group home in Moses Lake from organ failure and complications to diabetes.
He was born September 19th, 1960 in Ephrata to Arvid and Marlene (Hawes) Keith.
Matt was three years old when the family moved to the Tacoma area. He was about 13 when they moved to Onalaska where he graduated high school.
He worked in his father’s construction company until 1991. He returned to the Quincy area and was self-employed until the early 2000s. He then spent several years as a truck driver.
In early years Matt attended the Assemblies of God Churches in Onalaska and Napavine.
Matt loved his race cars, but gave them up so he could spend time fishing and taking trips with his children and his border collie (Bonnie).
Matt was survived by his mother Marlene Keith of Quincy; Brother Ben Keith of Dupont; Sister Jonna Court of Everett; sons Curtis Keith of Quincy, Evan Keith of Ephrata, Jesse Keith of Douglas County, Tim Glimsdale of Anchorage, AK; and his granddaughter Noel Rose of Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by his father Arvid Keith on June 13th, 1990 and his brother Lemuel Leon Keith October 21st, 2007.
A private memorial service will be held for the family with pastor Everett and Evelyn McKinney.
Inurnment will be held at a later day in the Alpha Cemetery, Onalaska.
