Obituary for Thomas Edison Freeman

Thomas Edison Freeman was born Jan 11, 1928 in Missoula, MT and passed away in Soap Lake WA Feb 17, 2015 at the age of 87. His wife of 49 years, Maribelle “Toni” preceded him in death in 2010.

He is survived by his sons, Wayne and Dale and his step-daughter Bonnie “Le” Truesdale, grandchildren Danielle, Jesse and Reilly and great grandchildren Trenton and Gianna.

Tom was raised in the Yakima Valley and served in the Army then the Air Force. After discharge he worked for Army Corps of Engineers at Bonneville Dam, retiring in 1984. He then worked for several years as rest area attendant for Washington State Highways in Lyle, WA and later for the City of Starbuck, WA until permanently retiring in Ephrata, WA where he lived for the past 20 years.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday March 2, 2015 at 11:00am at Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy, WA.
