Obituary for Margaret "Marge" Marie Neumann

Margaret M. Neumann passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. She was born in Quincy, WA on March 10, 1920 to Anton and Thecla (Andreas) Keller.

On November 22, 1938 she married James Hale. They had one daughter, Linda. They lived in Seattle. They were married until Jim’s passing on September 9, 1946. Margaret went to work for Boeing in 1950. She worked there until moving back to Quincy. On August 12, 1960 she married Dan Neumann.

Margaret was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Parish as well as a member of the Legion of Mary. She was also involved in community activities and was a member of the Quincy Business and Professional Women organization.

Margaret and Dan loved to travel and often took road trips taking them around the country and Canada. She loved to spend time tending to her yard and garden.

She is survived by her loving husband Dan; her sister Dolores Fortier; daughter Linda (John) Couture; grandchildren Daniel (Lyliane) Couture, Holly Cook, Patrick Couture, S.J. and Megan Couture; and her great-grandchildren Olivia and Delaney Cook and David Couture; brother-in-law Edwin Neumann and sisters-in-laws Rosemary Pappe and Sr. Eileen Neumann, F.S.P.A.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband Jim; her sisters Eleanor (Jim) Burns, Bernadine (Mike) Hale; her brother Joe (Rose) Keller; and brothers-in-law Lee Fortier and John (Francine) Neumann.

Holy Rosary will be recited at 5:30 P.M. on Friday, October 8, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church and Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Quincy, WA
Concluding services will be held in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
