Emma Corpus, 64, of Seattle, WA, formerly of Quincy, WA, passed away during the early morning hours on March 20th, 2016 at Franciscan Hospice House in University Place, WA.
Her death marks the end of a long battle with cancer.

She was born November 28th, 1951 in Edinburg, Texas to the late Rudolfo Hinojosa and Elvira Reyes.

Emma worked in the Accounts Payable Department for Alaska Airlines for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening and being with her family. She believed, "Love people the way you want them to love you."

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Jesus (Jesse) Corpus, her daughters Estella Corpus and Sarah Bigand and her siblings Ramon Hinojosa, Ramiro Hinojosa, Maria Rosa Davila, Raquel Sanchez, Lenore Ohl and Rudolfo Hinojosa.

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 6 pm on Monday, March 28th, 2016 at Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel with holy rosary being recited at 6 pm also on Monday, March 28th, 2016 at Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, March 29th, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Quincy. Father Mario Salazar will be officiating. Concluding services and internment will follow in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
