Obituary for Lonnie C Durfee
Lonnie C. Durfee, 85, of Quincy, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Lonnie was born in Almo, Idaho on October 26, 1933 to Ralph and Kturah Durfee. He grew up in Idaho and married Dorothy A. Dalton on July 19, 1956 in Austin, Nevada.
He and Dorothy raised their children in the Columbia Basin. He worked in agriculture for many years for various farmers. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and everything John Wayne.
He is survived by his 8 children; Lonnie Jr., Mike, Violet DeGraw (Kevin), Chuck (Barb), Kenny (Nora), Bryan (Laura), David (Melissa), Jim (Beth), 17 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by is wife Dorothy (1989).
Inurnment will be held on March 8th at 2 PM at the Quincy Valley Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will be on March 9th at 1 PM at the Bread of Life Church in Ephrata, WA (140 14th Ave NW, Ephrata, WA).
