Obituary for Aurora Castro Vargas

Aurora Castro  Vargas
Aurora Castro Vargas, 80, of Walla Walla and former Quincy resident passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at Angie's Angels Adult home in Walla Walla.

She was born to Martin and Candelaria (Astanieda) Castro on September 22, 1929 at Tuff, Texas.

She married Jesus Vargas in 1943 in Texas he preceded her in death in 1992.

They moved to Quincy in 1970 where they made their home until Jesus passed away, Aurora then moved to Walla Walla to be closer to to her daughter Angie.

Aurora is survived by her children, Jesse Vargas Jr., Theodore Vargas, Johnny Vargas, David Vargas, Rosie Rojas, Angie
Quintana, Virginia Landa and Alice Vargas.Her siblings: Adelina Castro, Armando Castro, Alma Alvera, Alice Blanco and Joe Rocha she is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Quincy.

Concluding services and internment will follow in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy.
