Obituary for Austin Gerald "Jerry" Riddle

Austin Gerald “Jerry” Riddle, 85, of Quincy passed peacefully at home on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
He was born to Austin and Mable Riddle in Morehead, Kentucky.

He attended University of Louisville School of Dentistry graduating in 1960. Following dental school, he spent two years in the United States Air Force before moving to Florida. Jerry spent almost 50 years practicing dentistry in St. Petersburg, Florida.

In 2009 he retired and moved to Quincy. He loved playing golf at Crescent Bar and Clockum Ridge where he made many wonderful friends. He also enjoyed his Friday night dinners at Don’s in Soap Lake with his father-in-law Bill Berger.

Jerry is survived by his wife Barbara Riddle of Quincy, children, Debbie (Joe) Connell, Tina (Ed) Crosby and Tim (Heather) Riddle all of Florida, stepdaughter, Betsy (Mike) Odegard of Oregon, sister-in-law Janet (Larry) Jones of Quincy and brother Larry (Phyllis) Riddle of Kentucky. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

At Jerry’s request there will be no services.
