Obituary for Clifford W Hunsaker

Clifford Wayne Hunsaker
October 8, 1963 - December 7, 2020

Clifford, beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend went to be with our Lord. He passed away at home on December 7, 2020, after a lifetime of heart complications. He was due to receive a TAVR procedure, but his heart gave out before the appointed procedure.

Clifford was born on October 8, 1963 to James Curtis Hunsaker and Patricia Ann Hunsaker in Prosser, WA.

In 1969 Patricia Hunsaker moved herself, Clifford and his younger sibling to Tacoma, WA., and later to the Pierce County area in Sumner, WA., where he grew up and graduated from Sumner Senior High School in 1983.

As a boy Clifford was active in Boy Scouts and 4-H. At 14 years old, he administered CPR to his Stepfather, Don Dorris, who was having a heart attack and was chronicled by the Pierce County Herald as a Lifesaver.

He worked in Sunnyside, WA., and in later years he was employed by Ernie’s Truck Stop in Kent, WA. In 2011 he moved to Quincy, WA., and was employed with Lamb Weston at his time of death. Clifford had a lot of coworkers and considered all “his friends”, he had fun and he spoke highly of them.

Clifford enjoyed fishing, movies and he taught himself Spanish and became fluent in the language. His most favorite pass time was spending time with his favorite loved friend, Precious, his dog, as well as visiting the elderly.

Clifford is preceded in death by his Stepfather, Donald Dorris in 1989, his Mother, Patricia Ann Dorris in 2001, his Father, James Curtis Hunsaker and Stepmother Bea Hunsaker both in 2011 and his grandparents, Newton in 2010 and Ruby in 1997 Hunsaker.

He is survived by his siblings, Gladys Hunsaker, Clayton Hunsaker, Roxanne Mack and Tamara Hunsaker, nieces and nephews and Great nieces and nephews.

Clifford is loved by many and will be deeply missed.
At present a private family service will be held.
