Obituary for David Lerma
David Aldape Lerma, 85, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2021, at Central Washington Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was born June 10, 1936, in Brownsville, Texas, the son of Julian Lerma and Guadalupe Aldape. He had six brothers and two sisters.
David married Josefa Espinoza Lerma on April 27, 1958. They had four children, Juana Maria Aldape Lerma, David Lerma (Shonna), Maria Keeler and Lydia Curnutt (Rowdy). He had 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Apa worked for Tom Hirai for 35-40 years before taking a job at Lamb-Weston where he worked for 19 years before retiring on May 30, 2000.
He spent his remaining years working out in the yard, buying and selling vehicles, and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was much loved and will be missed greatly.
Graveside services were held at the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
