Obituary for Ilene M Boorman
Ilene Mae Boorman, 93, a long-time resident of the Quincy Valley passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
She was born to Otto and Ina (Monson) Kuchenbuch in Greenacres, WA on December 30, 1928.
Ilene married the love of her life Cliff Boorman on December 19, 1948, at her parents’ home in the Spokane Valley.
They moved to the Quincy Valley in 1953, where they started Boorman Farms. Their love of farming was passed down and continues today.
Ilene is survived by her sons, Wes (Julie) Boorman and Carl (Kris) Boorman, 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cliff Boorman, daughter, Janet, granddaughter, Angela and siblings, Norm, Helen, and Lilian.
Graveside services will be on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 12:30 pm at the Quincy Valley Cemetery, with a casual open house to follow from 2pm-4pm at the Boorman Farms in George located at 3519 Road O SW, Quincy, WA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Reiman-Simmons House, PO Box 1003, Quincy, WA 98848.
