Obituary for Julia Faye McElliott
Julia Giles McElliott at age 78 died on 9/9/2021 in West Richland, Benton County, WA.
Julia was born August 15, 1943 in Longview, Washington to parents James H. Giles and Cleo Mars Giles.
Her family moved to Quincy, Washington where Julie attended school graduating in 1962. After High School she went to Kinman Business College to become a legal secretary. Julie returned to Quincy and worked in a law office until she married on 11/6/1965.
The next twenty years were spent in Montana where Julie had two children, Sandra and Kevin. Butte was her favorite spending fifteen years there and loved the food variety.
The next adventure was seven years in Anchorage, Alaska with the two teenagers while Dan was gone working at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
They moved to Ellensburg, Washington in 1992 and Julie enjoyed taking classes at CWU, involved with raising grand kids, and being in the Jolly Neighbors Club.
In 2016 they moved to West Richland, Washington to be closer to her grandchildren.
Julie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dan, daughter Sandra and her husband Kevin Conwell, and their children, who are Julie’s pride and joy, the twins Kaitlin and Nicole, Ryan, and son Kevin, brothers Jim and Dave and their wives Andie and Linda.
Graveside inurnment service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Quincy Valley Cemetery, Quincy, WA.
