Obituary for Kenneth Wayne Crosslin

Kenneth Wayne Crosslin, 84, died on March 7, 2020 in Wenatchee, WA. Ken was born on 6/17/1935 in Millsap, TX, the son of Marvin ad Theopa Crosslin.

His early school years were spent in TX, then traveled with family to Yakima in 1949. Ken graduated from Yakima High in 1953 and joined the US Air Force from 1955-1958. After his service he attended Yakima Valley College earning an Engineering Tech degree. Ken retired in 1997 with 30 years of teaching at the college.

Ken loved spending time with his best friend and loving wife, Dorothy (Fegert) Crosslin. They loved square dancing/round danced at a club in Yakima and throughout the state. He loved traveling to various places/cruises and had a love for books. Many times you would find him just sitting and reading.

Ken is survived by his wife, Dorothy, sons, Don Crosslin (Terri) NV and Tom Crosslin (Sarah) NH. His extended family, Rik Mayfield (Leslie) OR, Lance Mayfield (Ronda) WV, Daja Mayfield (Don Reini), Quincy. Sister, Carol Weimer, TX, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 1 great grandson.

Ken was kind, soft spoken and always had time to answer a question, have a discussion or solve a problem no matter how small. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Quincy Senior Center.
