Obituary for Linda L Lynn

Linda Lynn (Bowen), 72, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2019, at Central Washington Hospital with her family around her, after a prolonged battle with health issues.

Linda leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Edward Lynn, her son Rocky Lynn (Jeanine), her step-daughter Lisa Love (Joseph), daughter-in-law Elizabeth Lynn, granddaughters Amanda, Hannah, Sybil, Olivia and Zoe, grandsons Alex and Dakota, goddaughters Marissa and Katie, and two brothers Bill and Bob Bowen and their families. Linda also leaves behind many dear friends whom she loved and enjoyed spending time with.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jeff, daughter Ginger, step-son Edward Jr.,
and step-father Reese Hubbard.

Linda La’Nell Lynn was born January 17, 1947, to Earl James “Pete” and Mary Frances Bowen (Collum)
in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was the oldest of four with brothers Bill, Bob and Jeff. She was married to Ed Lynn on August 19, 1967. Linda welcomed her step-children, Eddie and Lisa, with open arms.
She and Ed had two children together, Rocky and Ginger.

They lived in both Coeur d’Alene and Spokane before moving to the Royal Slope in 1973.
Linda had many jobs including bank teller, waitress, farmer, combine operator, bus driver, raiser of chickens, convenience store clerk/cook with her buddies; but her most beloved “jobs” were that of mom, homemaker
and friend. She was very creative and enjoyed many hobbies. No matter where she was or what she was doing, Linda brought her contagious smile as well as fun and laughter. Even while suffering with her various medical issues she always had a good attitude and found something to share a laugh about.
Linda was very well known, almost famous, for her cooking, her cookie making (for the sheer numbers she baked not to mention the delicious taste), and her annual Halloween Chili feed with all the
hand-made characters and decorations.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Royal City Church of the Nazarene 200 Calla Loop NW, Royal City on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 11am. Concluding service will be in the Royal City Cemetery.
