I will miss your giggles when daddy told jokes, or when after he passed, we talked about his jokes and you would giggle. As a step-mother you were pretty much the best to have. Not living near I didn't get a lot of time to spend with you other than telephone and an occasional visit, but those times I hold precious. You were one tough lady with a big heart. I'm so glad you were part of my adult life for more than 50 years and I will miss you always.

I love you so very much grandma you were and are the sweetest soul and you always saw the good in everyone no matter what. Thank you for raising me to be a kind, loving, hard-working and selfless young lady. Now you may fly with the sparrows peacefully until we meet again. I am so glad I was able to spend your last few moments with you-you will forever leave an imprint on my heart.

Gosh-did you tell the best stories about your childhood, as a young lady yourself and the challenges you faced throughout your life. Growing up in Marlow, Oklahoma, Betsey the pig, moving away to Chicago and attending College, living through the tail end of the Great Depression and World War II as well as starting a family. I will forever hold those stories so very close to me for now and always.

Love you forever & Always your Casey-Jo

Mostly I will miss her laughter when we watched silly animal videos together. Our fun tradition during our visits. Her heart was too big, I would tell her. I am grateful to have been loved by such a special Grama 💕
