Cheryl Christine  Smith
Cheryl Christine Smith, age 69, died peacefully on May 3, 2016 at her home in Quincy WA, after a brief struggle with brain cancer. Cheri was born April 22, 1947, in Seattle Washington, the youngest daughter of Mildred and Lewis Bacot. She graduated from Seattle Christian School in 1965.

In 1965 she married the love of her life, Tom Smith. They briefly lived in the San Francisco area where their first child, Larry Neal Smith was born. In 1966 they moved back to Seattle and had two more children, Randy Neil Smith and Amy Christine Smith.

In 2012, Cheri and Tom retired to Quincy Washington where they built her dream home in Sunland Estates.
Cheri loved arts and crafts, painting, knitting and cross-stitch. She also had a distinctive eye for interior design and decoration that made things so inviting and comfortable.

Cheri is survived by her husband, Tom Smith; her children, Larry (Yolly), Randy (Amy) and Amy (Tom); four grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan), Sidney, Max and Tommy; two great grandchildren, Michael and Colton and a number of other brothers, sisters and friends.

There will be a celebration of Cheri’s life at Grace Church (10323 28th Ave SW, Seattle WA 98146) on Saturday, May 21st at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to The Hospice Promise Foundation, Arthritis Foundation, or VEDA – Vestibular Disorders Association.
